Is Dropless FDA Approved?

Some local cataract surgeons have been telling their patients,

we don’t perform Dropless® Cataract Surgery because it isn’t FDA approved.

Problem is, that just isn’t true. The FDA is a regulatory body for manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies. They do not approve surgical procedures. Some view the FDA as the Good HouseKeeping Seal of Approval for Medicine.

limited-warranty

That is not what they do. The FDA never approved no-stitch cataract surgery, they never approved All LASER LASIK and they will never approve Dropless® Cataract Surgery. So if your eye surgeon is telling you a tall tale, perhaps it is time to find a new doctor.
